Entry: United Earth Empire

The United Earth Empire was formed shortly after the 3rd World War in 2308. The United Nations becoming its own entity was separated from the war and kept its own army posted in each nation as a peace keeping operation. The army was posted under the notions of keeping the Geneva Convention terms, and shortly after the war, when the winning countries were celebrating peace finally after 23 years of conflict, the UN army struck quick and swift. They took out capitals and any resistance and set up a new world based order. It took all of 2 weeks for the UN to come to power and create the new United Nations of Earth whose goal was a peaceful mission to unite earth and other planets under a banner of peace.

This body was controlled by the Senate, which has separate entities from each of the former nations on Earth. With war and famine a thing of the past it wasn't long after this that humanity enjoyed a golden age of exploration into the fields of science, medicine, and travel. Many years after the formation of the UNE a branch was created to begin the explorations of space and its vast reaches into the nothingness formally unexplainable. No one can really say they were surprised when they life was found in a neighboring system. The war based Cyrics threatened much that had been achieved and action was saught to avoid confrontation at all costs. Luckily the Cyrics were short tempered but intellectually inept to the Humans. This didn't make them a push over however. Many of their ships were vastly superior to the human armada and could have destroyed them in a matter of moments. Fate was kind to the humans as the Cyrics were being ravaged by a disease they could not treat, but resembled the common cold to humanity. Medical aid was offered and accepted and a treaty fashioned to fit both people. The Cyrics joined humanity in their government to form the United Earth Empire. Now there where two senates The one based on Earth and the senate who gathered representative from many planets.

The year is now 2752 and the UEE is a strong power in space formed up of 400 different planets.
