General Overview

The Lithosian Ascendancy is a major power in this region of the galaxy. There society is caste oriented with each caste having its own responsibility to the Ascendancy. They are expansionist in nature, with the soldier faction carrying large sway in the ruling council.

In the past they have fought several wars with the UEE over several border regions. The UEE has generally come off better then the Lithosians but the Lithosian are far from beaten by the UEE. For the past fifty years there has been peace between the two powers.

Recent intelligence reports seem to suggest rivalries between castes are starting to intensify. UEE ships passing near the border with the Lithosian Ascendancy should take additional defensive steps.
