Lost in Space...ship

The door swishes open.

"Here! No... that's the mess hall... Oh! I'll call
Taran again! Taran! I'm los- wait... I gotta turn it on again...
stupid... where is... there it -"

He flips the switch on his communicator... off.

"- is. Taran! I'm... lost... I'm in the mess hall and I can't find my way back to the bridge..."

There is no response.

"Taran? Hello?"

Nothing.

"Why doesn't anything on this damn ship work!?"

His stomach issues a huge *GURGLE*

"THAT'S why I'm so turned around! I STILL haven't eaten, and I can't ever think straight on an empty stomach! Well thank god I found the Mess Hall!"

He walks over to a replicator and presses a few buttons. Several seconds later, a huge cheeseburger, topped with grilled onions, avocado, a fried egg, and cheddar cheese, pops out.

"Oh. My. God. YES!"

He proceeds to inhale the burger, pausing only to take huge gulps from the ice cold Coca-Cola in his other hand. Finally, stomach full and head back on straight, he heads out the door and to the Bridge.
